Battles Through History

We fought the elements, at the Battles of History event at the Ardingly Military show.

With severe wind and rain, we survived the chaos of the storm, however everything was wet, display boards broken, tents ripped and everyone was tired. We can only imagine how soldiers of the time would have survived in similar conditions.

It was a first, for the Fort Cumberland Guard away from our comfort zone of Portsmouth and Gosport. Through the hard couple of days, it was nice to meet new faces and see old friends. We would like to thank all for attending and thank Battles through History for including us in their event.
