5th Anniversary of the Victorian Manoeuvres

Despite being a ‘jolly hot’, weekend, English Heritage and the Victorian Association delivered an outstanding experience for the people of the Southcoast. The Season has begun, and The Fort Cumberland Guard was present at Fort Brockhurst. One of a number of forts built in the 1850s and 1860s to protect Portsmouth and its vital harbour against a French invasion.
